– C&C:ONLINE WITH REVORA CREATIVE NETWORK
To play online using Revora you simply have to download and install gentool in your game, and create an account in cnc-online.net. After that, you just open your game and login in the Multiplayer > Online menu in-game using the credentials in your cnc-online account.FIXING ERRORS AND & CONNECTION PROBLEMS WITH CNC:ONLINE
I get «Unable to connect to other players» error!
This is likely caused by a strict NAT or Firewall in your network. To fix this you can try port-forwarding or using a VPN, try to port forward first, if it doesn’t work, then try using a VPN. Check guides below.
I get «Could not connect to C&C Generals Zero Hour Online» error!
Check your options menu and make sure “Online IP” is set to your local IP. Local IP’s usually start with 192.168.x.x. If this doesn’t work it is likely that your ISP has blocked ports that are needed to play on C&C:Online, you can use a VPN to fix this. Check guide below.
I get «Failed to join – the game is a different version» error!
Make sure you’re running Zero Hour on version 1.04 and have no mods installed. If that doesn’t work, it is likely your game is running a cracked binary. To fix this, you must have gentool installed, after exiting the game, gentool will open an update window, press enter through the steps and let it patch your game.
I get «Your serial is already in use» error!
To play using gameranger, you must create an account and download it, then follow additional instructions.
Sometimes you will get a disconnection menu right after a game loads. This is normal, it happens when you can connect to the host but can’t connect to others on the lobby. Just wait it out, don’t quit!
Tip: You can display only the games you own if you change this option:FIXING ERRORS AND & CONNECTION PROBLEMS WITH GAMERANGER
In GameRanger, when players in a lobby have an italic username, it means that you have a connection problem with that player, and you will likely be unable to connect to him. But you don’t always need to, because with GameRanger, the lobby only needs to connect to the host. Find a player in your group that is not italic and let him host.
If you are the host of a lobby, make sure no other player in your lobby has an italic name.
Port Forwarding or using a VPN can reduce the amount of connections problems you run into. Check guides below.
